AS A SENIOR (2016): Started all 17 games this season … second on the team with a career-high 20 groundballs and a career-best 13 caused turnovers … collected two draw controls … picked up her first career point with an assist against Siena (3.2) … posted a career- high three caused turnovers against Harvard (4.26) … named Captain for the 2016 season … named to America East’s All-Academic Team for a second consecutive year.

AS A JUNIOR (2015): Appeared in 16 games with 13 starts … recorded 11 ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control … collected a career-high three ground balls at Brown (4.14) … named to the America East All-Academic Team. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity lacrosse at Chelmsford … named All-Merrimack Valley/Dual County League in 2012 … 2011 All-Star … also played varsity ice hockey for four years … helped lead her club ice hockey team, the Middlesex Islanders, to the 2012 Massachusetts State Championship … member of the National Honor Society … High Honor Roll.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jim and Michelle Kender … twin sister (Elizabeth) is also a member of the UMass Lowell women’s lacrosse team … also has two brothers (Stephen and Nicholas) … captained the UMass Lowell club lacrosse and club ice hockey teams in 2013-14 … lists Miracle and The Other Guys among her favorite movies … tabs her former coach, Jim Michelini, as her greatest sports influence and role model … chose UMass Lowell for its plastics engineering program and the opportunity to continue to be involved in athletics … majoring in plastics engineering.
