The 2020 Rowdy Awards
While our winter championship season and spring season did not receive the ending they deserved, The Rowdys will continue in 2020 with a few unique twists. The Cushing Award, given annually to a male and female River Hawk Student Athlete for outstanding athletic achievement, has been augmented to an Outstanding Athlete Award for each season. Similarly, our awards for Rookie and Breakout Athlete of the Year have been split into award winners for each season of competition.Â
Without a chance to gather formally to announce and celebrate, the awards will be given daily, beginning May 4 with the Griffin Award and culminating in the "Moment of the Year," chosen by the student athletes, awarded May 21 and 22.Â
This page will serve as your Rowdys hub, while all award nominees, winners and acceptance speeches/interviews can found across River Hawk Nation's social media outlets.Â
