Award Nomination

The Rowdys will celebrate another year of UMass Lowell Athletics by recognizing major athletic, academic and community service award recipient. It is an evening that showcases the best qualities of our student-athletes and demonstrates what it means to be a River Hawk.


Nomination is open to anyone  by using the form below. All nominations are due no later than April 15, 2019. Following the nomination process, the top three candidates in each category will be presented senior administration for voting.

Breakout Athlete
Presented to the Top Male and Female Athlete at UMass Lowell Presented to the top female student-athlete who encompasses academic and athletic excellence, leadership and service to the university and/or surrounding communities. Presented to the top male student-athlete who encompasses academic and athletic excellence, leadership and service to the university and/or surrounding communities. Presented annually to the student-athlete whose contributions to the program that cannot be measured by statistics. Presented to the team with the highest cumulative two semester GPA Presented to a new male and female student-athlete in recognition of outstanding achievements & contributions to the team. Presented to the athlete who has shown the greatest improvement from the previous year.
