Graduate student
Brandon Williams (Severn, Md.) got it started in a big way, winning the triple jump with a 14.08m mark. The discus followed that up, and it was senior
Ian Camerato (Mount Laurel, N.J.) that led the way with a sixth-place performance and personal-best 45.26m mark, before senior
Luke Stelmach (Sterling, Mass.) took 25
th place with a toss of 34.04m.
"The throwers had a good weekend," said Gardner. "Ian making finals was excellent."
In the high jump, freshman
Camren Allain (Carver, Mass.) and sophomore
Shane Exilhomme (Orlando, Fla.) finished consecutively in fifth and sixth place, each clearing 1.95m. Stelmach also competed in the event, earning a 1.90m mark for 10
th place.
Junior
Mukanya Kazadi (Woburn, Mass.) claimed ninth place in the shot put to lead the River Hawks with a 13.80m mark, before Camerato tossed 12.85m for 13
th place. The javelin closed out the field events, as freshman
Miles Acchione (Mount Laurel, N.J.) finished 11
th with a 45.47m mark as the lone River Hawk.
The 400m kicked off the running events, and it was freshman
Michael Fisher (Wallingford, Conn.) that led the way for the squad, taking sixth place with a 48.42 mark. Sophomore
Anthony Massari (Dumont, N.J.) finished in 13
th place with a time of 49.20, while junior
Brett Earle (Baldwinville, Mass.) crossed in 50.31 for 23
rd place.
The 100m hurdles were next, and junior
Tristan O'Riorden finished in 13
th place with a time of 15.41, while junior
Derek Munroe (Tewksbury, Mass.) claimed 17
th with a personal-best 16.28 mark. Sophomore
Nidlaire Olivier (Lowell, Mass.) finished in 21
st with a time of 19.85.
Sophomore
Daniel Kennedy (Tolland, Conn.) led in the 100m dash, claiming 10
th with a time of 10.80 just before graduate student
Aras Kaya (Winchester, Mass.) finished in 13
th with a 10.89 mark. Freshman
