BOSTON – Following a career day in the last week's midweek match against Dartmouth, UMass Lowell women's lacrosse sophomore goalkeeper Alexa Kuhn (Rocky Point, N.Y.) has been named the America East Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

In the game against the Big Green, Kuhn tied her career high, posting 16 saves in the 14-12 defeat while adding five ground balls. In the first quarter, the sophomore put up an incredible performance, making eight saves, including five in the first six minutes, to hold the opposition to only three goals in the period. This marks Kuhn's fifth weekly honor of the season.

Kuhn and the River Hawks return to action Tuesday, April 22, when they visit Massachusetts for the final non-conference match of the season.
