America East Announces 2023-24 Walter Harrison Academic Cup Results

BOSTON – After another strong year both on and on off the court, UMass Lowell athletics finished the 2023-24 academic year with a 3.318 GPA, the best in the department's history and good for eighth in the 2023-24 Walter Harrison Academic Cup.
 
Leading the way for the River Hawks was the women's lacrosse program, which was named the Sport GPA Champion after finishing with a 3.58 GPA. Not far behind was the men's lacrosse squad, also earning the Sport GPA Champion title for posting a 3.51 GPA.

  • Men's Basketball – NJIT (3.32)
  • Women's Basketball – Maine (3.86 – AE regular-season & tournament champion)
  • Men's Cross Country – Maine (3.59 – 3rd straight year taking first)
  • Women's Cross Country – Binghamton (3.78)
  • Field Hockey – Maine (3.68 – 4th straight year taking first)
  • Men's Lacrosse – UMass Lowell (3.51)
  • Women's Lacrosse – UMass Lowell (3.58)
  • Men's Soccer – UAlbany (3.52 – 2nd straight year taking first)
  • Women's Soccer – Maine (3.76 – AE tournament champions)
  • Softball – Maine (3.68 – 2nd straight year taking first)
  • Men's Swimming and Diving – NJIT (3.43 – 2nd straight year taking first)
  • Women's Swimming and Diving – New Hampshire (3.75)
  • Men's Track and Field – Vermont (3.48)
  • Women's Track and Field – Maine/Vermont (3.63)
  • Volleyball – New Hampshire (3.71)
