BOSTON – After another strong year both on and on off the court, UMass Lowell athletics finished the 2023-24 academic year with a 3.318 GPA, the best in the department's history and good for eighth in the 2023-24 Walter Harrison Academic Cup.
Leading the way for the River Hawks was the women's lacrosse program, which was named the Sport GPA Champion after finishing with a 3.58 GPA. Not far behind was the men's lacrosse squad, also earning the Sport GPA Champion title for posting a 3.51 GPA.

- Men's Track and Field – Vermont (3.48)
