BOSTON, Mass. – After another hard-fought season, freshman Daia Hansford (Bowie, Md.) was named to the All-Conference Rookie Team and junior Grace Hansen (Stamford, Ct.) earned All-Academic Team honors, as announced by the league offices Wednesday afternoon.

Hansford started in 16 games of her 17 games for the River Hawks. She finished third on the team with 15 caused turnovers and fourth in draw controls with 19. Hansford recorded her first career point at Quinnipiac (3/12) and wrapped up her successful rookie season with her first career goal in the final game of the year against Brown (4/26).

Hansen, a biology major, was named to the All-Academic team for her achievements in the classroom, posting a GPA of 3.99. On the field, Hansen finished with a career-high 15 goals, while also adding in two assists and collecting 21 ground balls.

The women's lacrosse team made strides throughout the season, setting multiple program records and finishing with a 4-13 overall record and 1-5 mark in conference play.
