LOWELL, Mass. – Coming off their first conference win of the season, the UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team (3-10, 1-3 AE) will look to start a win streak as they return home to play the Morgan's Message game against the Merrimack Warriors (3-8, 3-1 NEC)  on Wednesday night, followed by a matchup against the #5 Stony Brook Seawolves (9-2, 2-0 AE) on Saturday afternoon.

The River Hawks tallied their first conference win of the season, taking down Binghamton 11-9. Junior

Layton Nass (Manhasset, N.Y.) paces the defense with 18 caused turnovers and Salim's 90 saves lead the team.

Over the first 13 games, seven different River Hawks have recorded a hat trick. Liquori leads the way with four total hat tricks, while Tobin, Stratton, and freshmen
Jade Catlin (Middletown, Md.) and
Sophia Scialdone (Syracuse, N.Y.) have all recorded their first career three-goal games this season.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
The Warriors head to Cushing Field after taking down Saint Francis University, 12-8, on Saturday afternoon. Leading the way on offense is midfielder Catherine Mahanna who has tallied 24 goals and 10 assists for a team high 34 points. Pacing the Warriors in goals scored is Meghan Dzialo, who has totaled 29 goals through 11 games. In net, Hayley Kowalczyk has recorded 72 saves with a .379 save percentage in 480 minutes of action.

SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
The Seawolves come to town riding a seven-game win streak, including two wins against ranked opponents. The top scorer for the team, midfielder Ellie Masera, has totaled 40 goals and 11 assists for 51 points. Stony Brook also has five other players who have totaled 20+ points on the season to help boost the offense. Defender Haley Dillion has 23 caused turnovers, which puts her second in America East. Time in net has been split, with Charlie Campbell playing the majority of the time, tallying 45 saves with a .450 save percentage in 360 minutes of action.

A win would against the Warriors would give the River Hawks their first winning streak of the season. Taking down Stony Brook would vault UMass Lowell up in the standings while giving them their second conference win of the season.
