LOWELL, Mass. – Coming off a hard-fought loss, the UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team (2-6, 0-0 AE) will finally return home to Cushing Field to take on the Vermont Catamounts (6-1, 0-0 AE) on Saturday afternoon.

The Catamounts are led offensively by midfielder Ava Vasile, who has tallied a team-high 20 goals and is second on the team with eight assists. In net, Sophie McLaughlin has totaled 45 saves with a .433 save percentage in over 365 minutes of playing time.
