GENEVA, N.Y. – UMass Lowell field hockey graduate student
Jenna Berger (Waterloo, Ontario) has been selected to participate in the 2022 Division I Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Senior Game, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Thursday.

"Jenna has had a fantastic career and to culminate her final year with being named as one of the best senior athletes in the country is phenomenal," said Head Coach
Shannon LeBlanc. "She has put a tremendous amount of work into her development both in and out of season, and we are so proud of her for earning this honor and representing UMass Lowell."

Berger is one of just 38 student-athletes from across the country that has been selected to participate in this year's Senior Game. The selected student-athletes were nominated by their coach and were chosen based on their career accomplishments. The selected seniors are given the opportunity to represent their institution one more time, while competing against their peers.

This year, the Division I Senior Game will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in Storrs, Connecticut. The Senior Game is projected for 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the University of Connecticut.

With only three games remaining in the 2022 regular season, Berger currently paces the River Hawks with six goals, five assists and 17 points in 2022. On Sept. 11, against Merrimack, Berger's fourth-quarter assist vaulted her into first place on the program's Division I record list. She totals 23 career helpers, in addition to 24 goals and 71 total points.
