LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell field hockey team (4-3), who is in the midst of a three-game win streak, looks to keep the momentum going when it travels to Dartmouth for its lone contest this week on Sunday, September 29 beginning at 2 p.m.

RIVER HAWK REWIND
The River Hawks picked up a pair of wins last week, first defeating Sacred Heart, 5-2, at home on Sept. 20 before earning a 2-1 victory at Columbia on Sept. 22. Freshman

Anouk Lalande (Brussels, Belgium) scored both goals at Columbia.

SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
The Big Green is 2-4 so far in 2019 with one more game on the schedule against Princeton before hosting the River Hawks. Last week, the team faced a hard-fought, 4-3 loss in double overtime against New Hampshire on Sept. 20 before defeating Merrimack, 4-1, on Sept. 22. Carmen Braceras is leading the team with four goals and nine points. Katie Spanos chips in with eight points, while goalkeeper Isabella Santucci totals 56 saves with a .737 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's contest marks the 11th meeting between UMass Lowell and Dartmouth in the sport of field hockey. The Big Green currently leads the all-time series, 8-2, after a 2-1 win last season.

A WIN WOULD
A win on Sunday would extend the River Hawks' streak to four games, matching the program's longest win streak at the Division I level, which was previously set back in 2015.

Freshman
Kate Miller was named America East Rookie of the Week on Sept. 24 after tallying five points in the win against Sacred Heart. Classmate
Sofie Knook also earned a Rookie of the Week nod on Sept. 17 after propelling the River Hawks to victory against Ball State with a pair of goals. She was previously tabbed Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 3 following a successful collegiate debut that included a big defensive save in the 38th minute against Syracuse.
