SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS: UMass Lowell enters the weekend with a 5-15 overall record and a 0-7 record in America East play. The River Hawks own a 2-4 record at home this season in six matches at Costello Athletic Center.

Katherine Claybaugh (Danville, Calif.) leads the team with a career-high 222 kills and 3.31 kills per set, while Visvardis paces the defensive side of the court with 319 digs and 4.43 digs per set. Junior middle blocker
Lade Adeniyi's (Springfield, Ill.) 46 total blocks (10s,36a) leads the UMass Lowell roster. Visvardis also leads the team with 20 service aces. Junior setter
Delaney Mendez's (Phoenix, Ariz.) 400 assists and 6.67 assists per set are best on the team. Mendez's 400 assists now give her three consecutive 400 assist season under her belt.Â
The River Hawks as a team rank third in America East with 1.39Â service aces per set and their opponents .205 hitting percentage also ranks fourth among conference teams.
SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES: UAlbany owns a 6-13 overall record coming into the weekend, which includes a 6-1 record in America East play good for first-place in the conference standings. The Great Danes own a 3-4 record in seven road matches so far this season. UAlbany has won its last five matches, which includes a 3-1 victory at UMBC on Sunday. Chloe Evering and Tatiana Tiangco lead the team with 13 kills apiece. Nicole Otero notched a team-high 25 digs, while Kelly Cameron amassed 40 assists in the win.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS:Â Binghamton has posted a 6-14 overall mark and sits in fifth place in the conference standings with a 3-3 record coming into this weekend's matches. The Bearcats will travel to UNH for a Friday night matchup before coming to UMass Lowell on Saturday. The Bearcats fell against UAlbany, 3-0 in their most recent match on Friday at home. Gabby Alicea had 14 kills in the losing effort against the Great Danes. Alicea leads the team with 274 kills on the season. Akuabata Okenwa leads the team with 217 kills on the year.
SENIOR NIGHT:Â The River Hawks will honor their two graduating seniors in a pre-match ceremony on Saturday night vs. Binhamton at Costello Athletic Center. Outside hitter
Masha Yelsukova (Santa Clara, Calif.) and defensive specialist
Malorie McIver (Austin, Texas) will be playing in final home match of their collegiate careers on Saturday night.Â
McIver has amassed 610 digs and 23 service aces in four years with the River Hawks, including a career-high 172 digs in her freshman season. She has totaled four straight 100-dig season with 150 digs in her senior campaign and she has five 10 dig performances to her credit so far this season. This player also set a career-high with 19 digs on August 28, 2015 against Rider in her sophomore season.

Yelsukova has posted 482 kills, 243 digs to go along with 82 total blocks in her four-year career with UMass Lowell, which included a career-high 243 kills in her freshman year in 2014. She also notched a career-high 19 kills on two occasions in September of 2014 against Liberty and Hartford.

McKenna Bova (Corona, Calif.) notched 14 and 13 assists, respectively. UMass Lowell posted a match-high 12 kills as a team in the second set and hit for a .190 hitting percentage in the third frame.Â
AMERICA EAST LEADERS: Katherine Claybaugh's 3.31 kills per set rank fourth among America East hitters, while her 3.42 kills per set in AE play in second best to Binghamton's Gabby Alicea.Â
Erica Cappellino's 0.37 service aces per set is fourth best in the conference.
Lade Adeniyi's 0.92 blocks per set is fourth best in the league, while her 1.12 blocks per set in conference play is tied for second. Visvardis' 4.43 digs per set also ranks for among AE defensive players and he 4.62 digs per set in AE play rank fourth as well.Â
