UMass Lowell Holds Open Tryout Saturday

The UMass Lowell rowing team, which reached new heights last spring, is holding an open tryout session Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the multi-purpose room on the bottom floor of the Costello Athletic Center.

Prospects must have documentation of a physical in the last six months and must be full-time students.

UMass Lowell is fresh off a stellar fall season and a spring season which saw it advance to the Grand Final of the Dad Vail Regatta on May 12. The River Hawks capped the year ranked No. 3 in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) East Region Poll, and received votes in the CRCA Division II Poll.

UMass Lowell opens the 2013 spring season on Mar. 30 or Apr. 4 at a regatta to be announced.
