UMass Lowell returns to its Northeast-10 Conference schedule this evening with a pair of games against American International College.

The UMass Lowell women (4-7 overall, 3-4 NE-10) look to return to winning ways following a pair of losses - 93-69 to C.W. Post and 71-65 to District of Columbia - in the C.W. Post Winter Classic last week. Prior, the River Hawks ended the semester winners in three of four games.

UMass Lowell meets an AIC team which is currently 3-8 overall and 2-5 in the Conference, and looking to snap a three-game slide. The Yellow Jackets, who have won the last three meetings over UMass Lowell, are well-rested, having been idle since a 58-42 loss at Saint Rose on Dec. 10.

On the men's side, UMass Lowell (7-4, 3-4 NE-10) showed no rust in Saturday's 109-81 win over Concordia, which ended a 21-day layoff. The River Hawks shot .700 in the first half (21-30), led 67-41, and had five players in double digits led by Dipanjot Singh's career-high 25 points.

The AIC men (4-7, 2-5 NE-10) have also been idle since a Dec. 14 loss at Dowling, which followed a 65-41 loss to Saint Rose. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series against the River Hawks, 19-15, and have won the last three meetings.

UMass Lowell visits Southern Connecticut Saturday (1:30/3:30) and Adelphi next Wednesday (5:30/7:30) before returning home Saturday, Jan. 14 to host Pace (2:00/4:00).
