Sean Cotter, in his third year as head coach of the UMass Lowell softball team, has announced the 2012 UMass Lowell Coaches Clinic for Saturday, Feb. 4 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the University's Inn and Conference Center.
The clinic is open to coaches of all levels and costs $90.
Along with Cotter, featured speakers include Emily Friedman, assistant coach at Fordham University; Danielle Mason, UMass Lowell pitching coach and head coach at Pentucket H.S.; Casey Price, head coach at Oswego State; and Cheryl Mulligan, head coach at Tufts University.
Registration is slated from 8:00-8:50 a.m. and is followed by instructional workshops throughout the day including glovework, correcting common flaws in hitting, and hitting workouts and drills.
The clinic will conclude with its final workshop from 7:15-8:00, a Q&A session with the UMass Lowell and Oswego coaching staffs.
