Junior Evan White won the 200 meters and automatically qualified for the NCAA Championship to lead the UMass Lowell men's and women's track and field teams at the Boston University Multi-Invitational Thursday night at the BU Track & Tennis Center.

White was one of six UMass Lowell athletes to meet or improve NCAA qualification marks. Joining White on the NCAA lists were junior Craig Bennett and senior Jeff Wundt in the 400 meters; and senior Angus MacDonald and junior Jeff Veiga in the mile.

On the women's side, senior Ashley Zielinski won the 60 meter hurdles in 8.77 seconds.
