UMass Lowell returns home today to host a pair of Northeast-10 Conference games against Pace University (2:00/4:00) following Wednesday's split at Adelphi.
The UMass Lowell women (5-9 overall, 4-6 NE-10) halted a four-game losing skid with a 75-68 victory over the Panthers, in which they shot .533 in the pivotal second half and used a late 15-3 run to seal the win.
Pace (11-3, 8-2 NE-10) enters the game in a four-way tie for second place and has won four straight games, the latest a 61-43 home win over Saint Anselm Wednesday.
On the men's side, UMass Lowell (9-5, 5-5 NE-10) looks to rebound following Wednesday's 61-53 loss at Adelphi, which ended the River Hawks three-game winning streak. The River Hawks sit in a three-way tie for seventh place.
Pace (8-6, 6-4 NE-10) had won two straight games until Wednesday where the Setters fell at home to Saint Anselm 77-66 to slip into a share of fifth place.
The UMass Lowell women endure a busy week as they host Mercy in a non-conference clash Monday at 3:00. Both the UMass Lowell men and women are in action again Tuesday night when they host Le Moyne (5:30/7:30).
