Men's Soccer vs. Assumption

With its first four matches - all on the road, two against NSCAA Top 25 teams - behind them, UMass Lowell has a good sense of where it stands. The River Hawks are fresh off a 2-1 heartbreak loss in double overtime at No. 9 Franklin Pierce Tuesday, in which the Ravens knotted to score at 1-1 with 35 seconds left in regulation to force overtime.

The loss marked the second time in four days that the River Hawks suffered a setback in double overtime. Last Saturday, UMass Lowell scored two goals in the final 12 minutes to force extra time at Bridgeport, before conceding a goal in the final minutes of the second overtime.

Assumption enters today's game with only two matches to date: a 2-0 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas and a 4-0 win over Saint Rose, both at home.
