VOLLEYBALL
Following a victories by UMass Lowell and Franklin Pierce during day one of the River Hawk Classic, all four teams will play two games each on Saturday.
UMass Lowell will host Franklin Pierce at 11 a.m. and Merrimack at 1:30 p.m. on the primary court, while Post will do battle with the Warriors at 11 a.m. and the Ravens at 1:30 p.m. on the auxiliary court.
All matches on the primary court will have live streaming and stats available.
In the River Hawks' win on Friday, Lea Freeman (Methuen, Mass.) scored a match-high 11 kills and five blocks in a sweep of the Eagles. For Post, Kelli Reynolds (Stamford, Conn.) scored six kills with a .500 attack percentage.
In the opening match, Franklin Pierce's Natasha Ray (Colorado Springs, Colo.) landed a match-best 17 kills and 13 digs to power the 3-1 win over Merrimack. Despite the loss, the Warriors saw a strong performance from Stephanie Sheehan (Smithtown, N.Y.) who scored 15 kills and nine digs.

FIELD HOCKEY
After suffering a 4-3 loss in penalty strokes to No. 5 West Chester to open the season, No. 1 UMass Lowell has since defeated No. 9 Millersville (4-3 on strokes) last Sunday at home and Saint Michael's (3-0) away on Wednesday.
Sophomore forward Melissa Effertz was named the Northeast-10 Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week on Wednesday as she scored one goal in the loss to West Chester and followed with her first career hat trick against Millersville. Effertz also added a goal in the win at Saint Michael's.
Bentley looks to recover from an uncharacteristic 1-3 start, prolonged Thursday in a 2-0 loss at Merrimack.

MEN'S SOCCER
Fresh off a stunning 4-0 win at Merrimack Wednesday , UMass Lowell visits Bridgeport this afternoon (1:00) at Knights Field, the third match of four straight away from home to start the season.
The River Hawks meet a Bridgeport squad which opened the season with a 2-0 home win over Southern Connecticut and followed with a 3-2 loss at No. 7 Franklin Pierce.
UMass Lowell then visits No. 7 Franklin Pierce next Tuesday (7:00) before finally opening at home Saturday, Sept. 17 against Assumption (3:00).
