Senior Connor Burnham (Harwich, Mass.) and junior Cam Kneeland (Rowley, Mass.) shined at the 37th annual New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association All-Star Game on Thursday night. Playing at their home field, LeLacheur Park, the duo accounted for two of their team's five hits in a 3-3 tie.

The pair of River Hawks played for the College Division Team, comprised of 13 of the region's standout Division-II players and 16 of Division-III's top seniors. Their opponents, the University Division Team, featured standout Division-I players from the region.

A Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team selection, Kneeland started the game at third base and went 1-for-2 at the plate with a double down the right field line.

Burnham entered the game in the bottom of the sixth inning to play second base. The NE-10 All-Conference Third Team honoree also finished 1-for-2 in the contest, knocking a two-out single up the middle in the ninth.

UMass Lowell baseball has now had four NEIBA All-Stars in the last three seasons. Thursday marked the second consecutive appearance by Kneeland, while pitcher Jack Leathersich (Beverly, Mass.) was selected as a freshman in 2009.
