The UMass Lowell women's and men's track and field teams host the Northeast-10 Conference Championship Friday and Saturday at the Cushing Field Complex.

Results will be updated on the Northeast-10 Conference website, www.northeast10.org, at the conclusion of each event. Results can also be accessed on the Northeast-10 Twitter site, @TheNortheast10.

The UMass Lowell women - who have won four NE-10 outdoor titles - look to displace two-time champion Southern Connecticut, while the Southern Connecticut men have yet to relinquish the championship in nine years.

The Championship begins at 4:30 with the discus, javelin and long jump - all finals - while the track events begin at 5:00 with the women's 100 meter hurdles trials and the men's 110 meter hurdles trials. Also on the slate are the men's and women's 100 meter dash trials and the women's and men's 10,000 meters, which wrap Friday's events.

A full schedule continues Saturday beginning with the field events at 11:30 and the 4X100 meter relay at 12:00.

Both the Southern Connecticut women and men captured the 2011 indoor titles.

UMass Lowell returns to action next Friday and Saturday at the New England Championship at Southern Connecticut State.
