Sophomore Candace Greene won her second shotput title in as many weeks and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships to lead UMass Lowell at the Brandeis University Reggie Poyau Invitaitonal Saturday afternoon.
Greene threw for a distance of 45' 4.5'' and led four women's winners on the day. Senior Ashley Zielinski won both the 55 meter dash (7.44 seconds) and the 200 meter dash (26.45) while sophomore Elisabeth Monty won the 55 meter hurdles (8.39).
On the men's side, senior Angus MacDonald won the 3,00 meters in 8:33.83 while sophomore Kevin Peter won the weight throw (52' 10.0'').
