The UMass Lowell women's and men's basketball teams host the College of Saint Rose Saturday afternoon (2:00/4:00) in a Northeast-10 Conference women's and men's basketball twin bill.

 

Both the River Hawk men and women look to snap a two-game slide, extended Wednesday at Le Moyne.

The UMass Lowell women (6-10, 5-7 in the NE-10) suffered a 61-56 setback to the Dolphins and previously lost 66-62 at American International last Saturday, despite a furious late-game comeback.

Saint Rose (12-4, 8-4 NE-10) enters the game in a three-way tie for fourth place and winner in four of its last five games, including a 77-73 overtime home win over Merrimack Wednesday and a 68-46 win over Saint Anselm last Saturday, also at home.

The UMass Lowell men (10-6, 6-6 NE-10) look to make amends after suffering a 77-75 loss at Le Moyne Wednesday, despite nursing an 11-point lead with 10 minutes remaining. Prior, the River Hawks suffered a 57-41 loss at American International last Saturday.

Saint Rose (13-4, 8-4 NE-10) has won four straight games, including a 79-57 triumph over Merrimack Wednesday and a 101-93 overtime victory over Saint Anselm last Saturday.

UMass Lowell visits Pace on Tuesday (5:30/7:30) and returns home next Saturday to host Southern Connecticut for Alumni Weekend.
