UMass Lowell opens Wednesday's final round of the NCAA Division II Golf Tournament East-Atlantic Super Regional at 12:00, but are forced into a game of catch-up. The River Hawks shot a combined 319 Tuesday, but gave up 12 strokes on the final three holes to slip one place into a tie for 10th, and 13 strokes out of fifth place and its first trip to the NCAA Championship.

Junior Thomas Ayala was the leader for UMass Lowell on Tuesday with a 78 and inched higher in the individual standings to a tie for 30th place alongside sophomore Brandon Robinson.

Indiana's Gavin Smith maintained the individual lead with a 73, following Monday's 68 (141, -3), and remains one stroke ahead of AIC's Garrett Beyor (71-71--142, -4).

Host Concord University leads entering day two with a two-over 290.
