Ken Harring, sixth-year UMass Lowell baseball head coach, has announced that his 2010 Summer Clinic will take place over two sessions on June 28-July 1 and July 12-15 at the Cushing Field Complex.

The four-day sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and campers who stay late can swim in the Costello Gymnasium pool until 3:30 p.m.

The clinic is designed to give each camper high level instruction with drills aimed on improving five key areas: hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and base-running. In addition, each day will feature fun games and team drills with chances for campers to work at their favorite positions.

In addition to coach Harring, instructors will include the River Hawks' assistant coaches and student-athletes. Campers will receive personalized evaluations and a free t-shirt.

The cost of each session is $180 per child, but campers from the same family may apply a $10 discount per child.
