Head Coach Shannon Hlebichuk and members of the 2010 NCAA Division II National Championship UMass Lowell field hockey team will be featured on Thursday night's episode of WCTV Sports Forum. They will discuss highlights of the 2010 season, championship run and undefeated 24-0 year.
WCTV Sports Forum is hosted by Paul Cardello and Wayne Fox and airs twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8-9:00 p.m. Viewers can tune in to Comcast channels 9, 10 and 22 and Verizon Fios customers can view the show on channels 37, 38 and 39 on Wilmington and Methuen cable systems.

Hlebichuk, a UMass Lowell field hockey alum, just completed her ninth season at the helm of the River Hawk program and has compiled a stellar 160-42 record (.792) during that span. She has earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Coach of the Year Honors three times and Northeast-10 Coach of the Year accolades in seven of her nine years.
This year's squad became the first UMass Lowell team to boast an undefeated National Championship season and captured not only the NCAA Title, but also the NE-10 Regular Season and Tournament Championships.
They outscored their opponents 119-8 on the year and won all but two of their games by at least a two goal margin. They also boasted a 0.33 goals against average as a team Both their outstanding offense and impressive defense broke NCAA, NE-10 and program records.
