UMass Lowell visits Franklin Pierce for a pair of Northeast-10 women's and men's basketball games tonight (5:30, 7:30) at the FPU Fieldhouse.
The UMass Lowell women (3-4 overall, 2-2 in the NE-10) enter tonight's clash winner in three of their last four games, with all the wins coming on the road: 55-53 at Saint Anselm Saturday; 63-61 at Walsh University Nov. 27; and 66-57 at Southern New Hampshire Nov. 23. The sole loss came Dec. 1 at home against Bentley (84-60).
Franklin Pierce (7-1, 4-1 NE-10) suffered its first loss of the season Saturday at Bentley, 90-72. The Ravens, which return four starters from last year's 30-2 squad, are ranked No. 7 in the latest WBCA Division II top 25 poll.
The River Hawk men (4-2, 2-2 NE-10) look to snap a two-game slide which included Saturday's 89-67 loss at Saint Anselm and last week's 65-61 loss to Bentley at home.
Franklin Pierce (3-5, 1-4 NE-10) enters the game having lost three straight, extended Saturday at Bentley in a 65-47 loss.
UMass Lowell hosts Merrimack Saturday at the Tsongas Center. The men's game tips off at 5:00 while the women follow at 7:00.
