No. 6 UMass Lowell looks to keep its postseason alive as it meets No. 1 Franklin Pierce in the losers bracket of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Saturday at 11:00 at FPU's Pappas Field in Rindge, NH.

On Friday, UMass Lowell suffered a 5-2 loss against No. 2 Assumption while Franklin Pierce was stunned by New Haven, 5-4.

In UMass Lowell's loss, freshman Matt Jacobs hit an RBI triple and later scored in the seventh inning, butthe River Hawks could muster no closer.
