Minnesota-Duluth scored its second win over UMass Lowell in as many days with two runs in the second inning and two more in the fourth Thursday at the Rebel Spring Softball Games in Kissimmee, FL.
Sophomore Casey Moore sparked the second inning rally with a two-run home run, and added an RBI single in the fourth to lead the Bulldogs.
The River Hawks pulled one back in the third inning behind an RBI single by junior Katie Hebert (Lowell, MA).
Freshman Elissa Boris (Gardner, MA) took the loss to dip to 0-4. Boris allowed seven hits, five earned runs and four walks while striking out four.
Sophomore Heather Stemper earned the win, scattering three hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out six.
