UMass Lowell will host the inaugural Lowell Holiday Festival – to benefit local families currently living in shelters – on Sunday, Dec. 20 from 12-3 p.m. at the Campus Recreation Center.

Approximately 150 children and their parents will be treated to lunch, activities and entertainment, including a visit by Santa Claus bearing gifts for all in attendance.

Volunteers are needed to sponsor families in need, to help purchase and wrap gifts from the wish list and to assist at the Festival. The gift-wrap and decorating session will be Saturday from 12-3 at the CRC.
