Senior OH Audrey Goss registered 10 kills and led a balanced effort as Adelphi defeated UMass Lowell, 3-1, Friday night in a Northeast-10 Conference volleyball clash in Garden City, NY.

The loss stopped a three-match winning streak for UMass Lowell, which slipped to 16-9 overall and 8-4 in the NE-10 entering Saturday’s match at Pace (1:00). The Panthers improved to 21-8 overall and 11-1 in the Conference.

The loss overshadowed a stellar effort from senior OH Elsa LeGrand (Highlands Ranch, CA), who led UMass Lowell with 17 kills, three digs and two blocks while junior MH Sarah Coscia (Pittsfield, MA) added 11 kills and two blocks.

Junior Jillian Hadder (Yucaipa, CA) chipped in nine kills and 14 digs while junior OH Vicky Wong (Tewksbury, MA) had 22 digs and senior libero Allie Eide (Gresham, OR) 13 digs. Senior S Nichole Rondeau (Dracut, MA) dished out 34 assists.

Senior MB Kelsey Hackett added nine kills and eight digs for the Panthers while sophomore Patawe Simms chipped in eight kills and six blocks and junior Hillary Pavels eight kills, 11 digs and three blocks.

Junior S Heather Mau compiled 34 assists.
