LOWELL – Sophomore Alaura Berry had 13 kills and no errors as Bentley College defeated UMass Lowell, 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-16) Wednesday night in a Northeast-10 Conference volleyball clash at the Dana Center. The loss halted a six-game winning streak for the River Hawks, who slipped to 13-14 overall and 5-6 in the NE-10 entering Saturday’s home tri-match against Assumption (11:00) and Bridgeport (3:00). Bentley improved to 16-10 overall and 9-2 in the Conference. Junior OH Elsa LeGrand (Highlands Ranch, CO) led the River Hawks with nine kills and seven digs. Junior Alex Kearney led the Falcons with 17 kills while Virginia Wong added eight.
