LOWELL – Sophomore MH Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, NY) compiled 14 kills and nine blocks as Southern New Hampshire rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat UMass Lowell, 3-2, Tuesday night in a non-conference volleyball match at the Costello Athletic Center. Game scores were 17-25, 25-22, 12-25, 25-16, 15-12. With the loss, UMass Lowell slipped to 6-8 overall and hosts Saint Michael’s Wednesday night at 7:00. The Penmen improved to 4-6 overall and hosts Saint Rose Friday (7:00). Junior OH Elsa LeGrand (Highlands Ranch, CO) led the River Hawks with 13 kills, 15 digs, six blocks and four service aces while sophomore OH Vicky Wong (Tewksbury, MA) added 11 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Sophomore OH Jillian Hadder (Yucaipa, CA) chipped in 10 kills and three blocks. Junior S Nichole Rondeau (Dracut, MA) dealt 38 assists. Senior OH Briana Doucet (Danville, NH) added 11 kills and 11 digs for the Penmen while senior S Nicky Dumond (Tewksbury, MA) compiled 20 assists and eight digs and junior S Kim Rowe (Exeter, NH) 14 assists and six digs.
