WATERBURY, CT – Sophomore OH Jillian Hadder (Yucaipa, CA) registered 14 kills while junior OH Elsa LeGrand (Highlands Ranch, CO) had 13 as UMass Lowell defeated Post University, 3-1, Thursday night in a non-conference women’s volleyball clash at the Drubner Center. With the victory, UML improved to 5-7 entering Friday night’s home match against Queens College (7:00). Post slipped to 1-12. Le Grand also added 13 digs and five blocks while sophomore OH Vicky Wong (Tewksbury, MA) chipped in seven kills and 11 digs. Junior S Nichole Rondeau (Dracut, MA) dished out 34 assists. Sophomore MH Natasha Loving led the Eagles with 10 kills while freshman DS Rosie Fernandez led the defense with 26 digs.
