MANCHESTER, NH - Junior OH Allison Murphy registered 13 kills and eight digs as Southern New Hampshire University turned back UMass Lowell, 3-2, Tuesday night in a Northeast-10 Conference volleyball clash at the SNHU Fieldhouse.

Game scores were 17-25, 21-25, 25-20, 28-26 and 15-10.

With the loss, UMass Lowell slipped to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the Conference entering this weekend's matches against Franklin Pierce (5:00) Friday and Saturday's against Georgian Court (11:00) and Merrimack (3:00).

SNHU improved to 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the Conference.

Sophomore MH Sarah Coscia (Pittsfield, MA) compiled a career-high 19 kills along with three blocks while junior OH Elsa LeGrand (Highlands Ranch, CO) added 14 kills and 13 digs.

Senior OH Kendra Ciccone (Quincy, MA) chipped in 10 kills, 14 digs and six service aces. Junior S Nichole Rondeau (Dracut, MA) dished out 30 assists along with 11 digs.

Sophomore MH Stephanie Dluginski added 11 kills for the Penmen while senior OH Brianna Doucet chipped in 10 kills and eight digs.
