LOWELL, Mass. – After impressive performances this past weekend, junior Graham Stedfast (Rowley, Mass.) of the UMass Lowell men's track and field team has been tabbed River Hawk of the Week. 

Surrounded by tough competition at Saturday's River Hawk Invitational, Stedfast shined. He first competed in the 800m run, zooming to a first-place finish with a personal-best time of 1:50.96. After that hot start to the day, he later ran as a member of the 1,600m relay squad, helping them to a fifth-place finish and a 3:19.38 mark, capping off his successful weekend.

He will look to continue this success when the River Hawks take on the Bruce Lehane Scarlett Invitational on Friday and Saturday, February 2 and 3, hosted by Boston University.
