LOWELL, Mass. -- In front of family, UMass Lowell staff members and the River Hawks women's basketball team, Tom Garrick was introduced as the eighth head coach in program history in the Perry Atrium of the Emerging Technologies and Innovation Center on Thursday morning.
"I'd like to thank Chancellor Moloney, Director of Athletics Dana Skinner, Deputy Director of Athletics Peter Casey and the entire UMass Lowell community for inviting me into your family," commented Garrick. "I think it's going to be a wonderful journey together and I am so happy that it starts now and I am looking forward to everything that it will bring. To the young ladies that I will mentoring and coaching, I am so excited to get started and there are great things ahead for both of us."
