Biography

AS A SENIOR: Started in all 18 games with the River Hawks • Added an assist in a loss to Robert Morris.

AS A JUNIOR: Started 21 matches for the River Hawks • Was a solid member on defense that led the NE-10 with 0.90 GAA.  

AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 22 of 23 matches in 2011.

AS A FRESHMAN: Named to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie team • Played in 13 of the River Hawks' 24 matches with two starts on the year.

CHELMSFORD HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity field hockey at Chelmsford High School for Coach Maura Devaney • Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star, Team MVP and All-Conference selection • "Best of 60" Game selection and Lowell Sun All-Star • Captained the team as a senior in 2009 • Also played lacrosse and was an honor roll student at CHS.

PERSONAL: One of two children of Cheryl and Matt MacDonald of Chelmsford, Mass. • Majoring in psychology
