AS A SENIOR (2016): Made 15 appearances with one start… collected a career-high four groundballs ... caused a career-best two turnovers … Captain for the 2016 season.

AS A JUNIOR (2015): Made one start in 10 appearances … collected three ground balls and one caused turnover. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity lacrosse  at Chelmsford … two-time scholar-athlete … named All-Merrimack Valley/Dual County League in 2012 … Lowell Sun Athlete of the Week … Boston Globe Star of the Week … also played varsity ice hockey for four years … helped lead her club ice hockey team, the Middlesex Islanders, to the 2012 Massachusetts State Championship.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jim and Michelle Kender … twin sister (Laura) is also a member of the UMass Lowell women’s lacrosse team … also has two brothers (Stephen and Nicholas) … captained the UMass Lowell club lacrosse and club ice hockey teams in 2013-14 … lists the Boston Bruins as her favorite sports team … favorite musicians include Jake Owen and Keith Urban … chose UMass Lowell to study plastics engineering because she aspires to design sports equipment … majoring in plastics engineering
